Passed away in Bracebridge, Ontario, on Saturday, September 12, 2009, following a long, determined battle with her health. Carolyn is survived by her husband Ron Jean-Marie of Juddhaven, Muskoka; her daughter Shannon of Cambridge; her father Rudy Broten of Cambridge and her brother Randy Broten and his wife Gail of Oakville. Predeceased by her mother Lillian Broten. Friends will be received at Reynolds Funeral Home ‘Turner Chapel', in Bracebridge on Tuesday, September 15, 2009 from 7-9 p.m. The funeral will be held in the Chapel on Wednesday, September 16, 2009 at 11:00 a.m., followed by cremation. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts to the Parkinson Society or the South Muskoka Hospital Foundation would be greatly appreciated. Messages of condolence, can be made at www.reynoldsfuneral.com
