Bernard James Black

It is with sadness, to announce Bernie Black passed away at The Pines on December 22, 2023 following his 84^th birthday on December 17^th.  He leaves to mourn his beloved wife Donna (nee Keall).  Cherished father to Carolyn (Dominic), Ron and Michelle (Darby).  Loved grandfather to Stephanie (Richard), Lauren, Cameron, Emily, Megan, Matthew and great grandfather to Madelyn and Charlie. 

Friends and family are invited to attend the memorial service on January 8, 2024 at 1:00 pm at Reynolds Funeral Home. 

Sincerest thanks and appreciation to the staff at The Pines Long Term Care Home for their compassion and kindness given to Bernie over the past 2.5 years.

Bernie was raised in MacTier, was one of 12 children to John & Delena Black.  He was a lifetime Muskoka resident, avid fisherman and manager of the Bala LCBO for over 30 years.  Bernie cherished his family and was always the perfect host to his family and friends.
