It is with great sadness that the family of Bernard “Bernie” Cheeseman announces his passing on Saturday, July 19, 2025, in Midland, Ontario, at the age of 87.

Dad was predeceased by brother Patrick and sister Jamie (Dan). He is survived by his brother Joseph (Betty) in Marystown NFLD.

Beloved husband to Doreen and the late Josephine (2009). Treasured father to Phyllis Greg), Rory, Tom (Michelle), Bernie “Boo” and Cathy (Stan). Proud grandfather to Chrysta, Steve, Keri, Nikolas, Emilee, Hannah, Mathew and Ashley. His great grandchildren Kaiden, Coby, Rosalie, Thea, Aria, Alaya and Faith.

Lastly a very heartfelt and appreciative thanks to a dear friend Donna Marie who gave her time and consideration to be there for dad to the end.

Visitation will take place at the Reynolds Funeral Home on Wednesday, July 23, from 2-4pm, followed by a Funeral Mass at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, on Thursday, July 24 at 11am. Interment at St. Joseph’s Catholic Cemetery. Everyone is invited to attend a time of fellowship and refreshments at the Reynolds Funeral Home after the interment.
