Sunrise May 24, 1969 – Sunset February 4, 2026

Audrey Dollery, a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin and friend, passed away on February 4, 2026, World Cancer Day, surrounded by her cherished family and friends in Bracebridge, Ontario. Born in Windsor, Ontario, Audrey was the daughter of Grace and the late Jim Dollery. Audrey spent her childhood growing up in Bayfield, Ontario, where she lived by the water — a place that forever shaped her love of nature, family, and simple joys. Summers were spent along the shoreline, creating cherished memories filled with laughter, adventure, and close bonds. Those early years instilled in her a deep appreciation for togetherness, kindness, and the beauty of everyday moments — values she carried with her throughout her life. Audrey had originally planned to become a flight attendant, but life led her to a successful career as an electronic sales engineer in a predominantly male field. With her remarkable sales talent, she could sell anything — even to those who didn’t need it! Audrey was a tenacious negotiator who never accepted a sticker price and worked tirelessly to provide for her daughters, never taking “no” for an answer.

Audrey was a proud mother to Catherine Neill (Luke) and Meagan Quinton (Ryan), and a devoted grandmother to Malikai Gothard-Neill, Kayden Kehoe, David Gothard-Neill, Liam Kehoe, and Wesley Quinton. She held a special place in her heart for grand fur babies — Luna, Kali, Charlie, Winston, Wilbur and the late Tucker — loving them as if they were her own. Audrey is now reunited with her beloved dachshund, Tinkerbell, who she cherished deeply.

Audrey was a beloved sister to Karen Wolf (Bruce Westmoreland), James Dollery (Marian), predeceased Martin Dollery (Veronica Maher), Kristina Newsom (Adam), and Scott Sebastian. Her strong bonds with her siblings were a source of joy and unwavering support throughout her life, and especially at the end. Family and friends were the cornerstones of Audrey’s life. She had a remarkable ability to make everyone feel special and was always willing to lend a hand, even to those she had just met. Her big heart was evident in her volunteer work at the local food bank, where she dedicated her spare time to helping those in need. In April 2023, Audrey faced the devastating diagnosis of stage 4 metastatic breast cancer. Despite the grim prognosis, she met every challenge with positivity and a radiant smile. Her advocacy for cancer research and support networks helped her build a vibrant community, pushing for changes in testing ages and resources for others battling the disease. In December, Audrey moved to Bracebridge, where her daughters and sons-in-law provided her with loving care. These final months were described by Audrey as the best of her life, filled with laughter, bonding, and heartfelt memories. She insisted on sharing “little secrets” to keep the atmosphere light, reclaiming her sparkle that cancer tried to dim. At last, she felt in control for the first time in three years and found peace. Audrey will be cremated and remain with her family, traveling the world in spirit. Those who had the honour of knowing her know how lucky they were; the world will shine a little less brightly without her. In memoriam donations to Guelph- Wellington Women in Crisis or Cure Foundation in Audrey’s memory would be greatly appreciated by the family. Service arrangements and details will be shared at a later date.
